Wow!! Christmas is really cool! Why didn't anyone tell me about this?

I started off by opening presents from my stocking and I got three little rubber duckies and I thought - wow, this is a great day! But then there were lots more presents and we visited with Grandma and Grandpa and my uncles on the webcam!

After all that fun, Uncle Todd came over. He read me books and played with my toys with me. I had tons of fun. I also got to eat some chips and salsa (one of my favorite things) and we had chicken and tamales. I was more in the mood for jicama and cucumbers but I tried a bit of everything.

The only thing that would have been better is if everyone was here!

Mom and Dad bundled me up and I thought we were going hiking but we just walked around this place and then....Dad cut down a tree!! I really didn't expect that. Last year, a tree appeared but I don't know where it came from. Actually, I have to admit that I don't remember it at all.

Anyway, the place we went was pretty cool and we checked out tractors and stuff. We also played peek-a-boo in the trees. It was great! I think that everyone should do that when they get their Christmas trees.

We got the tree home and put it up in the living room. It's fun to have a tree in the house. But THEN about a week later, John and Marjon (and Sadie!) came over and we decorated the tree. It was a lot of fun. There are all sorts of neat things that we got to hang on it. There are bears, girls, tiny bicycles and more! I really wanted to ride a tiny tricycle (and I tried!) but Mommy says that it is too small for me. That's a bummer. I still tried a few more times before Mommy hung the tricycle on the tree.

Everyone says that Christmas is coming but I'm not sure what to expect! We have presents under the tree that I'd like to unwrap now but I'm going to be a good girl and wait.
